Our journey together began in May of 2017, during a time of change. Ashley was getting ready to live out her dreams of playing collegiate lacrosse at Roanoke College in Virginia, while Ryan was completing his junior year at San Francisco State. Despite the distance separating us, we knew we wanted to grow our lives together. In December of 2017,  Ashley returned from the East Coast to California which allowed us to grow our bond even more. 

As Ashley completed her studies at Saint Mary’s College of California, earning her undergraduate degree, teaching credential, and Masters, Ryan pursued his dreams of working for the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District as a Media Communications and Public Education Analyst and then a Public Safety Systems Specialist. Our parallel paths and shared drive for personal and professional growth bonded us ever closer. We share a passion for giving back to our community and our strong work ethic fuels not only our individual ambitions but also our shared vision for a meaningful life together. Through the highs and lows, including Ashley’s personal losses, losing her grandfather and father, we found solace and strength in each other’s unwavering support and love. 

In 2018, we settled in Livermore, CA and we’ve enjoyed the simple joys of everyday life together, alongside our rescue pup, Maggi. Looking ahead, we are filled with gratitude for the journey that has shaped us as individuals and as a couple. With hearts full of love and optimism, we eagerly anticipate the new chapters and adventures that await us.
